So yeah, we got about 6 inches of slush. Power went out at school around 9:00 AM, generaters have been running all day, and then we started running low on gas, so they let us out 2 periods early. Score:smoker:

Now I need to get to the airport and hope my flight isn't delayed. Arizona here I come!:D

Somthing Almost similar happened to me. I lost my Internet Connection and phone for a couple of days. It sucked. And the Aliant guys kept saying, we're working on it. I'll never trust them again...

Don't be too harsh on them. Most of the time it is completely out of their control. The phone companies do not own the power poles and must wait on the power company to fix the problems, then they can repair their lines once the power company is out of the way. Most likely Aliant was on the phone constantly trying to get the issue resolved, but like I said it is mostly out of their control. If you must lay blame and be pissed off and non-trusting of someone, blame Mother Nature. I hear she can be a real bitch!
