Secret audio controls

I've been considering adding a pop up audio feauture to my case i just dont know how to proceed

My main objective is going to be able to have a control pop up from the top of the case revealing audio controls

what type of audio card would i need and any extra help will be appreciated

Well, you could go with something like the Soundblaster Fatality which comes with a control panel fit for a 5.25 drive bay. They have come down alot in procie, but still a tad expensive. Otherwise, you could browse ebay or creative.com and see which soundcards have control panels or set-top boxes and mod the crap out of them.
