Well been visiting this forum for some time now and thought I’d post some pictures of my mouse. Sorry about the image quality but I’m using a Lego camera (bought it really cheap) to capture the images I use. The mouse is a 5 button Microsoft intellimouse optical. I painted it black and cut a window in to it. I also placed a Lego skeleton figure on the inside of the mouse. The blue light is from my computer case.
Here is a picture in low light. so you can see the glow.

And here is one with more light.

skeleton, eh? you should post some better lit pictures.
what did you use for the window? i had a project where i put a fan in my mouse and it looks a lot like yours, but i wanna remove the fan, as it got noisy, and just add window that conforms to the curve of the mouse. preferably without having to heat and mold plexi.
+rep for the skel ^_^

What I used for my window is a combination of 4 things.
1. I used a peice of plastic fron a 2-liter pop bottle on the inside glued it in place to get the basic shape of the mouse.
2 I then filled the hole with hot glue. then
3rd I placed a thin peice of plastic (that I got out of junked laptom screen.) cut to fit on top of the hot glue.
And last thing I did was clear coat the mouse in hopes of preventing the hot glue from yellowing like it did before. ofcourse before I had yet to paint the entire mouse black. There my be better things out there yo use other than what I used, but its what I have available to me at the time.
