If I install WoW on another computer can I copy all the patches across from my WoW directory on my first computer to the 2nd one and update it that way rather then re downloading patches?

I would imagine so. I mean thats all your really doing when your downloading them right? Your just copying them from the WoW servers onto your computer, right?

Why wouldn't you be able to? I play WoW on my laptop all the time and my friend only has a laptop but he still plays too. You don't need no stinking mouse :P ;)

you technically dont even need to redownload it just copy and paste the program file, but it wont show up in the start menu. or just copy over the installer

Yeah I instaled it and try to use the patches I copied across but some where missing. So now I am just doing a 1-1 copy of the directory across the network.

I played for a while on a Dell 600m laptop for about a year, it was laggy, but it worked. Also, my wife plays on an old eMachines PC. Now that I have my new desktops put together, I run it on both with all of the settings on, basically just tune it back if you're under or around the minium reqs, the game's pretty forgiving on your system really, until you get about 80+ people in a small area.

Yeah it runs well every where except Org. In the end I took the whole WoW directory copied it to our home NAS then over onto my laptop.
