It was this cup (this is the cup re-filled after I dropped it)

Dropped it right here

Splashed onto some stuff laying on the floor (as well as some things directly in the drop zone).

A few drops landed nearly halfway up the door

Hit the remaining piece of my acrylic subwoofer

Hit the assembled pieces I was working on

A little bit got inside

And here's the big part, it nearly got inside my computer

I had the side removed from the case, and I just left it laying on the floor, with the fans unplugged as well. But last night, I set it upright, resting against the case, with the fans plugged in. The iced tea spalshed the side all the way up to the midpoint. Had I not set the side upright earlier, I may have gotten the inside my computer wet.

Even though I didn't have it inside of the computer, the side was open because I was doing things inside it.

I know you were thinking of that, so I thought maybe you thought I put the iced tea in it too >_>

sorry to hear you wasted your money on that crap cold heat.

It was a gift. I can't get it to melt the ****ing solder.

Definitely a close call, but it's good you're not as sloppy as I am. For starters, I don't have desk space so I always work on my CARPET. *ZAP* Random videocards, fans, loose screws, etc. scattered about to be stepped on, food and drink often an arms length away... needless to say I haven't done any permanent damage as of yet or else I'd obviously have learned my lesson by now.

It was a gift. I can't get it to melt the ****ing solder. Yeah I've tried the cold heat junk and it's nothing more than a gimmick. If anything, it's a reminder that shortcuts in life can lead to disaster (or a depleted wallet).

Canadian Eh?

Man, that would have sucked! considering you have a nice acrylic case like that! You should get sippie cups...(not an insult)

I notice you've taken photographs before cleaning it up. Nice one. I sure hope your house doesn't catch fire, lest you try to snap it and post it quickly before you burn to death. I always dread i'm going to log on one day to see a thread with the title "Holy **** dude, my house is on fire what do i do". :D

I'm not sure what to think of this. Should I be worried you had live grenades? Should I be glad you are ok? Should I be happy you gave me good advice? Who knows.
