so what kind of ide/pata cable do slim drives use? cus i've never seen them that small....

Not really. I had checked this out too for my Bubble Gum Machine mod. I just happen to have several of those adapters sitting next to my desk at work. They do not have the audio connectors on them though. Not sure if you would need them or not. PM me if you want one...


EDIT: BTW the slim drives are also used in 1U servers to save space.
