I'm having a problem with serious sam 2, and im pretty sure its hardware related. after about 30-45 minutes of play, i start geting artifacts and enemies stop rendering. theyre still there, but their rendered textures blink in and out, and it only gets worse from there. usually i just end the game, i dont wanna kill whatevers causing this.

heres the best part, every other game(trust me, i have a lot) plays 100% fine when it comes to issues like this. the only game that screws up is the one that came with the video card. >.<

I'm running vista, so that may be a problem, but i doubt it. I dont have a side panel on my case but i have two fans, pointed at the card, plus thea active cooler on the card.

oh, and for reference, its an MSI 7900GS

anyone got a clue as to why id have a seemingly heat related issue with one game alone?

7900's do put out a good amount of heat. I'm thinking aftermarket thermal paste (Arctic Silver 5).

I did experience heat issues with my 7900GTX but when I switched to a case with a fan over the PCI-E slots, my problem stopped.
