Ok, let's start with a shematic of the thing.
I have a computer in the kitchen, and one for my home theater. I want to be able to start a playlist on one and be able to listen to it on both computers.

Do anyone know a software to do this?

BTW, both computers are on the same Network...

How bout running a shoutcast server, or using WM Encoder to broadcast?

WM Encoder can be set to broadcast whatever sound output is going locally (ie Winamp), then you just open WMP on the other comp, and open the url of the host computer.

I've done this locally within the office I work for to share Christmas music with all the employees. 25 concurrent connections @ 48kbits was no problem to handle, and the quality was plenty good.. no complaints.

If you just want to share between 2 pc's, then you could up the quality as far as you want.

The only catch here is that one computer would always be the source, and one would always be the client, unless you configure wmencoder and shortcuts to the stream on both. Remote desktop can be your friend here also...

Hope that makes sense!
