Looks like I'll be in there rather a lot for the next few weeks. Been in two days this week so far, and have to go back tomorrow for the last time this week. Then I'm back in every weekday for about three weeks.

It's rather tiring, but at least I can come home at night.

Yeah, that was kind of vague xmastree. I don't usually ask about folks' medical issues but the fact that you posted this at all makes me think you meant to let us know what is going on. I hope you are doing okay.

I really hate to digress from the topic at hand, but I really feel as if I have to say this.

Obviously, if he's going to the Hospital so frequently, he's not okay. Asking if he is will just make people think you're extremely dense or something. I understand that you care about him, and that's why you're asking, though.

That being said, back on topic. If anybody would like to reply to that, please, do it over PM's.

xmastree, hope that whatever ails you is taken care of, and quick. Also, when you get the chance, do you think you could tell us what it is? As you can see, we're concerned.

Ohhh... we'll believe you alright.

But, you do know that we'll be moddin' whatever hospital room you're in, right?
And, you just waivered your rights to refuse our moddin' of your casts (if any).
And, of airburshing stuff...
And heck, do you have long hair? Maybe some color... shapes... LEDs in there... :D

LoL!!!

Enjoy it man!

Short story:::
Now, I work at a professional level, so I don't have my hair as I want.
But, about 3 years ago, I had really long hair.
A braid of my hair, a braid, got all the way to the end of my lower back.

I liked it a lot all the time I had it... although, it DOES take ****loads of time to take care of.
For those of you without long hair, here's what crosses our minds when we took a 20 minute shower:::
Well, ok, my hair already got wet.
Might as well clean it with some shampoo.
Well, ok, my hair is already wet and clean.
Might as well put some conditioner on.
Well, ok, it's wet, clean, and conditioned.
Might as well un-tangle it (lots of brushing).

So, a simple shower would take 20-30 minutes.
I don't blame women anymore after I went through that.

I once went to a wedding, that, mainly because of my little sister and my mother's pressing, I let them blow-dry my hair.

Ok, do you see this smiley?

Yes? Put long hair to that, and that was me.
DUDE!!!!
HOW CAN WOMEN BLOW DRY THEIR HAIR?!??

The whole operation took about 2 hours (in addition to long, it was a lot of hair-count), and my brain...
GUYS! My brain was BOILING inside my skull!
I was dying the terrible Heat Death of the universe inside my head!
I stuck my head infront of the a/c unit, and that helped somewhat.

Anyways, two more points.
(1) For cutting my hair, I didn't want any regrets.
It "kinda" sucks when you cut your hair, and then it crosses your mind that maybe it was better un-cut.
There's no Ctrl-Z for that.

So, when I **knew** I wanted the hair gone, I waited for 4 months.
After those 4 months, I loathed the freaking hair already.
I knew I wouldn't have second thoughts if I cut it.
So, I washed it up, cleaned it really good, conditioned it realllllyyy good, then, I'm proud to say that:

(2) I cut off a 16" braid of all my hair, and sent it to Locks of Love (www.locksoflove.org).
It's a great feeling to believe you're making someone feel very good.
It's like a mini :santa:

Um, that's the end of my rant for today. :p

I call the surgical staple gun!
Old clamps work great for holding small stuff in place, or pulling hooks out of fish.
