Ok guys I had to put the X box mod on the back burner as I need a new desktop ASAP. The mobo went out in mine 2 days ago. I'm on my laptop now and will be for the next month or so as I begin this project. I have been thinking of a theme for months now and I was watching some old horror movies at the g/f's last night and the Idea hit me. A swamp thing themed case. So I have spent the last 3 hours on newegg researching and building my hardware list. Later this week I will post some google sketchup models I'm going to draw up.

I chose the Thermaltake tsunami case because of the large front door. I plan on having it open slowly with a liner actuator. I also want to do some kind of Swamp thing head or hand or something coming out the top of the case. I can model this out of clay and then create a mold and then cast it in resin or silicone. I have been looking on ebay for a small model of the "Things" head or something similar but couldn't find anything. Anyone want to find me something. I also need some help finding UV green Molex connector ends and green sleeving.

Edit: I thought I should add my old setup that went out.

I find that ppc is overpriced on some items.

UV green rounded IDE cable (http://www.xoxide.com/idecable3.html)
UV green sleeving kit (http://www.xoxide.com/sleevingkit1.html)
Green 12" dual cathodes (http://www.xoxide.com/green-cold-cathode.html)
UV dual 12" cathodes (http://www.xoxide.com/cathode.html)
UV green molex connectors (http://www.svc.com/pck-uvg.html)

Hope this helped

That sucks about the Injury. I was mowing yesterday with the push mower and I clipped the side of th driveway. A huge chunk of concrete flew out from under there and the sharp side stuck in my leg. Got a massive bruse and a gash. . Looks the the V for Vendetta symbol.

Anyway.
You should Put a Gator Head on there.
