I got yelled at by my SgtMaj for someone in my shop calling a pregant female fat.

^^ could be worse, could have called a fat female pregnant... :p
Funny story: have a friend who's got a bit of a belly and another who's a bit...well, thick to be honest.
So, thick friend sees fat friend after a long time, and thinks she's pregnant, and says something along the lines of congratulations. When another friend tells thick friend this is not the case, thick friend immediately starts apologizing "I'm so sorry, i didn't know."
Umm...didn't know what? Is fatness a fatal disease that only a couple of people catch? So she's fat, get over it. I think you may have to know the people in question to fully get this joke...

I woke up 2 hours earlier than usual before school so I could play NFS Carbon on my 360 Elite. Then I went to school and I'm at work now.
Guess what I'm gonna do when I get home? Go ahead, guess.

Today I took a load of old monitors and PC's to the local recycling depot, and almost cried when I saw the stuff that people are throwing away! So I went to the administration office to ask about salvaging stuff, and they said no.
So I found out who runs the recycling program (100km away from here), and phoned them. He said no also.
GDI people are stupid.. who throws away a perfectly good, less than a year old P4? Honestly.. give it to someone else!
*sigh*
Then I came back to the office, had a bunch of old furniture taken away to the local goodwill shop, and finished cleaning up my build room.
Ate some Ichiban for lunch, and now I'm doing a triple boot setup on my laptop.. Vista *shudder*, XP, and Ubuntu. Wish me luck.
good luck, your going to need it,
and install in this order:
XP, VIsta, Ubuntu

Today I woke up, smiled because its sunny outside, took a shower with herbal essence and got dressed in my beach clothes.
now I am going down to my lil beach that has an area of nice soft sand that is just big enough for 2-3 people to sit comfortably. in other news, a log floated to shore a few days ago that is also just big enough for 2-3 people to sit on. Guess where that log is going? :)
...its going into my shed. Where I will torture it with led's, knobs and levers, and a 17" LCD display all connected to a PC cleverly hidden on the inside of the log where that big hole is.
lol yea right, I wish. ;)

That's one helluva drive to the beach! Bout 8 hours or so one way depending on traffic and all iirc.
Woke up at 6 am. Did about 8 things at work today. I'm feeling hot and achy after lunch. I think the pastrami didn't agree with me. I've had a feeling like I want to vomit and some intestinal cramping.
It's also allergy season, so I'm dealing with watery eyes and nose.
In general I'm fairly miserable.
But, I'm taking off an hour early because I have to be here at 7 am tomorrow, which means getting up at 5 am. Huzzah installs.
Still, the sooner I get out of this weather and get home to relax, shower(to clean out my sinuses), and have this cramping stop, the happier I'll be.

well, i woke up about an hour ago seeming as i dont have to be anywhere today. its now 2pm. im going to pig out on some lunch in a bit, then ill wash the front of the house to get everything cleaned up for summer. after that i get to make dinner, have dinner, and wash the dishes.
some time this afternoon i also have to make some phone calls about jobs and weekend plans.
ill be going to the gym tonight for a couple hours. thats probably going to be my only "free" time today. even though i have the day off... its not a slow day since my parents keep loading me up with things to do.
oh, and as always... im going to be devising a way to destroy the universe. thats always been a goal for me. and while im thinking of it... sorry in advance if your world just ends one day.
<EDIT> interesting thing just happened. i was out in the yard (its about 4pm now keep in mind) and i was clearing some dead raspberry canes. i think i just got hit by a minor atmospheric discharge. not quite lightning, but the clouds look like they're building static, and it smells like static around here too. i had my mp3 player on, and all the sudden the earphones made a fuzzy sounding craaaaaAAAACK!! and i felt a huge shock through my ears, into my head and down my arm. my mp3 player shut off and i had to restart it... and it felt like my brain just restarted too. i saw a fast white flash, but it wasnt lighting because there was no boom, so i think my head went crazy for a second, and now i feel shaky and i have a general sense of awe for some reason. i just keep looking at things and thinking "wow... a pencil." or "wow... my FEET!" i just noticed that my right hand pinky is twitching uncontrollably too, and my heart is beating kind of slow... like 40 beats per minute. other than that... im good.
im not going back outside right now... lightning definitely strikes in the same place twice, and i dont want to be proof of that.
yes... a great day so far.

I set a school record for the worst attendance of an A-level student still entered into end-of-year exams. In other words, others have had worse attendance but none have completed their course and entered for the exams. I went to two lessons the whole school year, (should have gone to 8 a week) because I consider my photography teacher to be an absolutely disgracefull excuse for a teacher. This is a teacher who is head of photography AND head of art at a school of several thousand students, and he doesn't know how to use photoshop. I came in the first lesson and did a load of photoshop work. The second lesson every time someone asked the teacher how to do something on photoshop he'd send them to me. I got pissed off that I was teaching his lesson for him and he was being payed for it, so I told him not to tell people to ask me, so he wrote a letter to my parents saying that I was disobedient and disrespectful.
The fact is, I didn't go to a lesson after that. Today was the deadline for handing in coursework. Out of 20 people, I was the ONLY person to hand it in. I was the ONLY person to complete the course, and I didn't go to one of his lessons. I know for a fact that 10 people have complained to the school about his teaching and I know for a fact that the school has chosen to ignore their concerns.
So yeah, thats what I did today, I won 'top of the class' award for a class that I only went to twice in the whole course:D

I set my alarm for 5:47. When it went off, I was like "this is too early". So I set it for a half hour later.
I woke up at 9:33, confused why it was so late.
Went to school, came home, and I've been procrastinating since.

I also completed a few tutorials from this amazing site (http://videocopilot.net/tutorials.html). Great tutorials, and Andrew Kramer is one of the funniest guys to listen to do tutorials. In the first "Light Streaks" tutorial, he talks about some settings you can change to make the rendering easier during the building of the video. He says something like, "Now, I know some of you can make this without using this, but you must be on some new tech, like, Dual, like a, a, Pentium 2 setup, and we just don't have that tech here." (Or something along those lines). He just adds subtle hilarity to the lessons. Even if you don't have After Effects, you should watch some, just because they are interesting and funny.

Today I woke up and did my music viva voce assignment (analysing 4 pieces of music). Then I went to school, and my first lesson was music, in which did my 10 minute presentation about the 4 pieces I analysed in the morning. After that, I had a vaccination for cervical cancer. Now I have a free period and I'm on this forum while writing my english essay in another window. My arm hurts.
Short day.

good luck, your going to need it,
and install in this order:
XP, VIsta, Ubuntu
From what I"ve read, Vista --> XP --> Linux.
Apparently Vista has changes to the NTFS that can cause nightmares if you resize the partition.. plus the Grub bootloader needs to be reinstalled and modified, as Vista needs to be hd0,0.. or else.

the problem is that XP can't read the Vista boot record, and as such you won't have an option to boot into vista anymore, but if your going to install them one at a time, get vista to create the partitions when you install, simple.
and so you know, vista is currently installed on my machine IDE0,2

And what did you do today?
I spent most of the day looking at TBCS forum posts. Work was really slow, and I figured this was a bit more productive than looking at my other computer screens too much
