Which is best for simple case lighting?

Well, it depends! If you have lots of UV reactant stuff, get UV cathodes. If you don't, get normal!

it depends on your likes and what you have in the case. if you have uv reactive stuff, get uv cathodes, if you want other colours but no uv effect get normal cathodes.

For us I use both the combination of a sual 4 inch setup and one 12 inch mixed with two sets of uv leds.
