Potential or scrap?

Hay guys, take a look at one of my cases I have bought, its down to its barebones and i was wondering if you see potential in it.. I have the side panels (i think) but they are just bare metal like the case... there was a plastic to it but it was so damn horrid

Because i have the modding fever more then ever i was thinking of going crazy and “try” to make a nice shape and style, could you please tell me what stuff would i need to shape it? Iv heard of bondo on the forums but i cant get it in the uk but any car body filler would work, right?

I also have this mix by plastic padding and also mesh i could only find the mesh at the moment here are some pictures of this too. Do you think it would be better, worse or just the same?

everything has potential! just be creative, Yes any body filler will work. Bondo is just a brand name. Mesh looks like fiberglass. If you got some Fiberglass resin, you could use that.

I only wish I had a case like that right now to torment...err, Mod. There's a LOT you can do with that!!

yeah i know, i have a few ideas for a new case the question is how am i going to shape it..

hopfully i will get to use sketchup and mess about with it soon. if all else fails then it will be from my hand :D

hehe i bought it a while back it was only £20 plus £5 p&p off ebay :) but the plastics were not nice. dunno if i still have them :/

the mesh thing is made out of thin ally not like a cloth if that is what you were thinking.. i have the mix thing what is on the packet of the mesh. might need to look close at it, just a small tin with hardener if i remember correctly

That case is FRIGGIN HUGE! It has a lot of potential. Just grab a dremel, some sandpaper, some paint, and a hella lotta plexiglass.

haha yeah. its bigger then my armor what you can see in the b/g and that is on casters :D

with this one it has to be one what says wow xD iv done bits on the two in the pic but nothing worth talking about :( but the good thing is that i dont have parts for the case so i can take as long as i like and no bug to say GET IT DONE GET IT DONE WANNA PLAY STUFF xD

it lacks HD space it has 3.. for a case that size i would want more.. but iv got a idea for that.. so crazy it might just work and i havent seen or heard any thing like it :D but more on that latter :P keep you all guessing

anyone know were i can find stuff for sketch up? tuts, how-tos or welcomers? i havent looked at it yet but the stuff you guys produce is great and my thought is that its gonna take me a while to produce good stuffs

anything you have is the potential to be great things. You just have to really stretch your imagination and obliterate yourself outta the box.

I think the harder part is making your mind up... when you brainstorm you get tons of ideas normally.. so once you got past the Writers block you have another problem of not knowing what to and not to put on the case xD

its a crual world after all..
