The release of the 8800 Ultra is due this month. This link tells you a little bit more about the Ultra. Price range is aroung in the $800 not the $1K range. Sorta affordable for me atleast! Might get one but yet I can pay my mortgage with that money. :hurt:
Anyway read on. They did some tests witht he OC'd EVGA 8800 GTX card. Does not look like the Ultra is that much improvement in performance BUT I am certain that if the Ultra was OC'd it would obliviate the OC'd GTX.
Anyway have fun reading because I did. Maybe an upgrade migh be good but then again I might SLI another GTX depending if the current GTX prices will drop or not.
