Foam board words pretty well for mock-ups. I think the best is still the single ply type cardboard, I'm trying to remember its name... someone want to help me out here? You can get it at craft stores, its fairly thick and rigid and it holds itself well.

Well I picked up all that stuff yesterday. I decided I was going to wait. . and goto Home Depot this weekend for a Dremel.

What kind should I get, I've seen battery powered and Corded?

I was thinking about getting one with the Flexible Shaft are they worth the extra Money?

Is there any particular bit I'm gonna need to cut aluminum?

Unless the cord is a problem, I'd go with the corded one, you'll have a more steady power source, as in, your battery won't die on ya while you're modding... the battery powered one won't have a cord to get in your way though, it's all a matter of preference, unless there's something about Dremels that I don't know of, like a quirk or something when it comes to whether they're cordless or not...

Card Stock? I think.

At any rate I have a stack of it I saved while unpacking something at work.

18 or 20 gauge wire in assorted colors perhaps?
Soldering gun and solder if you don't already have it.
A small First Aid Kit. Paul sent me one in the grab bag that I won on Ebay, and it's already earned its keep.
