I am going to Nauvoo, Illinois this summer. I tried out to be a Young Performing Missionary there and got it. I'm going to be leaving on May 5 and I will not return until August 21. If any of you live anywhere near or between Chicago and St. Louis then come see me if you can this summer.

Anyways, I've been kicking my butt working in my basement. I started working in it to fix it up a little but the scope of the job has grown and grown. I wish I would've set up a camera so that you could all see the progress. Anyways, I've had no time to mod anything because it is my work area, so I haven't been able to post anything great here.

The point of all this is to say that when I get back I will get to work and show all of you what I can do. I will also post pics of my basement when I return. Anyways, when I do not post for four months do not think that I have died.

I wish all you guys peace. And I'll see you in four months.

Not neccesarly. According to well...my beleifs, your mission field is outside your door. lol.

I can see this topic heading really fast towards a religious arguement.

Hey, I'm back. I have some projects that I will be working on and hopefully I will be able to get them done and documented well. It's good to be back, but it will take a while to get back in the thick of things. I had four months with no computer, no TV, movies, etc. It was great, but it's weird to come back home and see everything that has changed.

Good to have you back.
Isn't Nauvoo that planet in Star Wars? That would be a pretty cool missionary trip.

Bringing the Lord to the Gungans. :D

Ok... before anyone takes me serious.. I do know Naboo was the planet in Star Wars..

On the subject of just being back, is there any way I can get all the threads completely marked as read? It's gonna kill me to try to look at everything.

EDIT: I got it all figured out.

I agree with

mission is outside your door

Nauvoo is LDS land, isn't it? Are you a LDS? I hope you have fun, what is the true job you did, anyway? I'm LDS, by the way.

When someone asks what LDS means, only THEN we may get into an argument, or a missionary oppurtunity if you look at the bright side.

Totally disregard this statement if you did not understand it.

Yeah, I'm LDS and most of Nauvoo is owned by the church. I was a performing missionary there. I sang and danced for the whole summer. For a while I had six performances a day. The Nauvoo Pageant was the best. It was really good. If anyone here wants music from the pageant to know better what I was doing this summer, you can PM me your name and address and phone number. The cd will be delivered by missionaries, but that doesn't mean that you have to take any lessons from them, or let them in your house.

It was a really great experience, I'll post some pics soon. If anyone has any questions about what I did there, just ask.
