ha ha, i installed it into my old p3 system (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7554) and it works. since it looks like its a lite version of Ubuntu it runs pretty fast.
but how do i go about installing apps? where do you guys get your apps from?

i'm going to try to install ultimate 1.2 on the VIA c3 system i recently got, the one with chinese win 98. Ultimate 1.3 looks nice but i think it might need a better/faster running system.

This would be correct.

Or, The main menu, Administration > Synaptic Package Manager.

Or, download the source and install per instructions (if you do this post again and I'll give more detailed info.)
