View Full Version : Linux Quake III metal tin external HDD enclosure (56k beware)

alrighty, in response to the article that was posted here a while back (http://www.boxgods.com/dept/modding/index.php?Action=Article&ID=146) about mounting a harddrive in a metal game box, i've decided to do it as well. only difference is i used a Quake III game box instead.

here are some pics that i just took. i'm putting them as links right now as i don't want to surprise anyone by having lots of big pics load up on them... anyways, tell me what you think (again 56k beware):

it's technically not done yet. i'm going to eventually add two 40mm fans with quake 3 fan grills on either side of the cables going in just to help with air flow.
