How do you fix or replace a corrupt file using windows xp setup's repair part? :? All i did was increase the v-link from 2.5 to 2.6 while overclocking after not being able to get into windows and i get the message that \WINDOWS\System32\config\SYSTEM is Corrupt  and to use thw window's setup disk to repair. Plz offer any help.

ok, i got some help from HardForum, they helped me find the auto repair. after doing that i rebooted the pc and it had the windows loading screen up for about 5 sec before crashing. now all i get is an error beep and a blank screen. can anyone help?

u didnt notice the auto repair b4? :D thats what i was refering to not the manual repair and I thought you would notice it. anyways it seems like it couldnt repair it completely or you fried something, or it is overheating.
