I am working on getting parts ready to build my case for my project. I was searching the web and came across a kit from aerocool on building a custom case, it included the frames and a piece of acrylic to mount the mobo. The bad thing is it is no longer sold or something. So where can I get aluminum sheets and parts to make the computer frame? Anyone have any ideas?

usually a local metal shop will be more then likely to help. Im not 100% sure about yours, but the home depot near my american home sells sheets of metal.

As for parts...really...its all about your design. What usually helps out a lot, is having a a case skeleton.

If you want to go full out custom, then I'd suggest drawing your design and planning what kind of things you would need.

Do you need a list of tools or something?

I have tools, just need to find a good place to buy parts. Yeah I got off the phone with home depot and they have aluminum sheets and other stuff I can use, as well as plastic joints. Once I get a scale drawing of it, I can calculate how much of what I will need, along with a bit extra and I'll go get it. I was thinking that I would be able to find it cheaper online, but the only ones I was able to find were for large quantities.
