I currently own a XFX Geforce 6600GT. I want to upgrade. I am thinking of maybe trying an ATI. So, with that said:

For that price range, I'd go with the X1950 XT personally...check this site out (http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics_2007.html?modelx=33&model1=724&model2=734&chart=292)though for good comparison charts

The 8 series come in AGP?
The x1950 is probly the best you'll find. Since AGP is an old technology, i'd recomend a 512mb card so you'll have a bit more breathing room.
