The more I read of that site, the more I don't want one.
Only 106HP? Why not give it more! I could walk out to my garage and hop on a 180hp bike which weighs a lot less.
It's just sooooo ugly. And it doesn't lean into corners. That's where the fun of riding is. It's having the bike laid right over, on the limit and carving up the twisty roads.
I'll bet that thing is as expensive as a car too.
It has the Y Factor alright. Y the hell would you want one.

106HP? Thats it? Well that Sucks.
I was thinking about getting a bike intil I priced them. .They cost more than cars around here.
$130 a month for 20 years. . damned Leases. Never ever.
The Hayabusa. . is what all the "Kewl" dudes ride around here.
I looked it up they cost $14995

my brothers John Deer lawn mower has more horse power. Is it for people with inner ear problems that cant balance a motorcycle? really, really useless.

Yeah seems stupid, although that is more horsepower than my car. I got 88hp stock hells yeah! (My car is fast for those numbers) Whatever I would still probably waste it and can definately out corner it.

you could buy a mint condition Corvette C4 for 15k$ and with the rest of the money put some killer mods on it

That bike DOES lean. That is one of the cool innovations about it. 106 HP is not that bad, but it could be better for the weight. For a first model it's not too bad. The company is on the right track, but I would wait for a couple of models to really see how they pan out.
My 1200cc Sportster came stock with about 68hp and is now running around 80. With lots of torque it still drops your tonsils to your shoes and will pull a wheelie no problem (an accidental discovery). And it cost me under $10k. Buell uses the same motor in their sport bikes and have the engine pumping 101hp! Not bad for an air cooled v-twin engine...

Hey, Bucko, how are the roads there in Australia for bikes? Here's the bike I have, it kicks total ass:
http://www.icehouse.net/jim_d/gifs/at.jpg
It's a slightly different model, of course, no shocks, but at $300 used, that's a steal... these suckers go for $1k+ brand new, and the company that made them went out of business, so that $300 may have been an investment, take good care of it, and later on it may be worth a lot, but I have no clue about bikes and collectability (not a real word, but whatev)...
If that image is too big, I can link to it if need be.

Nah, I got a 1996 Ford Escort. I love it, don't want a Honda to many posers driving Hondas. I prefer mazdas myself (my Escort is the same thing as an older Protege)

Don't get me wrong, I own a '69 Nova and a '06 GTO but most rice burners will eat alive, or give a damn good run vs a C4 vette... unless it's the ZR-1 but... try getting one of those for under 15k.

Dude, it _is_ a real bike. It is sooo much better than the uprights, less wind resistance, you don't use your weight to pedal, you pretty much use it as a bench press, or whatever the proper term is... I can get going from 0-25mph in like ten to twenty seconds... 25mph is about the max on that thing... not enough gears, and my shifter is ****ed up...

Honda is the market leader in engin technology. If its a honda, its probly going to run even if the body of the vehicle has rusted away to dust.
Bikes are faster than cars(maybe not 6 second dragsters). A 600cc dirt bike will mop the floor with almost any car. A ninja can go from 0-100 and back to zero before a viper reaches 100. I dont know if thats what Greco101 was saying or not. Just clearing it up.
Crimson, i seen a bike like that about 5 years ago. It was totaly enclosed. They had rigged up "training" wheels which fold into the body much like landing gear when the bike went past 10mph. Cool idea, however impratical.
Ryoken, Thoes ergo bikes are cool but with only 1hp(human power), there just not the same.

Well its more of a trike then bike since the 2 rear wheels stay down. what makes it really neat is that how much it tilts depends on how fast your going and how hard you turn the wheel. so just around town you dont go the full tilt range, but a winding country road at 60mph will get to close to the ground. they have a video on the site where the guy sticks his hand out the window and grabs some sand/dirt as he takes a turn.
my version would have a bomber face http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b2/American_P-40_fighter_planes.jpg on the sides and an old WWII pin-up girl on the back. the thing just reminds me of a fighter jet or something. but the only thing is that i dont think it would look good with all my different radio antennas i have i my car on it. oh and my amber strobe light either, prob would take away some of the "cool" factor.

No, I was talking about the 350Z the guy was looking to buy.
Rice burner = imported car (not domestic/muscle)
Rice rocket = import (not domestic/muscle)
Crotch rocket = Street bike.
Most muscle car guys think of imports at junk, but 99% of the time they're wrong. YES, 99% of 4cyl rice burners = ricers, I know a few around here pushing 400whp in a 2500 lb car. This would MURDER a C4 corvette. Imagine what the tuner industry can do with a 6cyl. A '93+ Supra is good for 600hp on stock internals.
The 350z isn't good for this kind of hp stock, but 300hp for a v6 is pretty damn good compared to that 300hp v8 vette and has much better gas mileage. Lacking torque, but compensating with a higher rev engine and a more luxurious ride.

tisc tisc tisc....
you should talk to the guys over at corvetteforum lol
some smart ass wanted to race his 350z at the drag strip, he got 13.6 in the quarter lol, a stock C4 would run 12.5 all day long, give it some drag radials be prepared to see some 12.2 12.3 runs
further more, you say a 93 supra is good for 600... ha ha, only after you ad titanium in the valve train(springs, hlders, retainers, intake valves etc.) a few turbos and so on
do you know what a C4 corvette can do if you give it twin turbos, just google Callaway Sledgehammer Corvette and that thing is from 88
ou, and one more thing, the vette will be reliable

You can get a direct bolt on twin turbo kit for the 350z. Boost's the power to neer 700HP. Im sure that would give your corvette a run for its money.
Eclecticos, a Buick Grand National is what you want. When it was released, it was the worlds fastest production vehicle.

Yeah... people in cars more or less consider bikes as a moving obstacle, if they hit it, who cares? Certainly not them. I've almost been hit multiple times on my bike due to people not knowing bike signals. LISTEN PEOPLE! BIKES ARE VEHICLES TOO AND FOLLOW THE SAME LAWS AS CARS! THIS INCLUDES THE MOTORIZED AND THE HUMAN-POWERED ONES!
Sorry for the CAPS there... and I have no clue why I said that there, everyone here is pretty much at least a little above average, if not a lot more.
