I don't know where else to post this, there's no peripherals forum, so, here goes:

I have a Wacom tablet, and with the pen tool it doesn't like to cooperate in a drawing program I have called Deep Paint. It has been screwing up for a while, and when I go to paint, it paints a few inches to the upper left of the cursor, but doesn't do this with the mouse. It worked like it should last night, but not today, and I've had problems with it for a while.

Should I uninstall and reinstall the drivers? That's the one thing I can think of doing that may help. I already tried unplugging and replugging it in to no avail.

Thanks for the help (in advance),
Ryoken

Durr, y teh're no1 r3sp0nd1n|<??1???1?/??

Just kidding, I forgot to add that having a forum for peripheral based stuff would be good, you know, speakers, monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc. etc. etc.

Check to see if there are new drivers. Is it usb or serial? I would definitely go for the re-install. Interesting enough I have seen issues when switching between the puck and pen on some Wacom's. Most of the time you just have to re-calibrate, but it could be a driver issue.

BTW what model?

Umm... there is no recalibration utility with what they gave me, surprisingly, and I don't use the mouse for it... here're the specs, that I found on the bottom of it, can't find the box...

USB
Model: CTE-440
Silver (color, lol)

Think upgrading the drivers may help? I'ma try that now.

EDIT: Hey! That solved my problem, at least for the moment. I'ma close this thread at least until I have more problems, and I hope I never have to open it. Thanks Airbozo, for the bit of help you were. :D:D:D Time to roll out some sigs, maybe... and prolly a TBCS desktop too. :D:D:D
