Scroll Saw Question.

I don't know If I'm missing something here or what.

I put the blade on and when I turn it on it makes a loud knocking sound. .

Do I have the wrong blades? These are the one's they included with it. Got it Used.

I turned the knob on the back, it tightened the blade up. Is it supposed to make that noise?

Does the blade move up and down?
Take the blade out and see if it will work.

Is the knocking sound coming from the front or back?

Take a picture of the back side.

If you only have 1 blade, go to your local hardware store and compare yours with what they have available.

does it knock when you turn it on with the blade removed?

Yep. It dosen't as much If I turn down the knob on the back. I think this is the wrong blades. . Crap :evil:
Another thing I noticed is the posts on the blades are not very long.

Then a different blade isn't going to stop it knocking.

Maybee missing a grommet or something.
I will look up some pictures of some new ones see if I can't get it figured out.

Hells Yea. . Doesn't knock any more. Cut me out some mouse pad. :)
I think it does have the wrong blades though, the Posts are way to small.
