I'M GOING WITH A GREEN AND WHITE LIGHT THEME.

Lighting: I'd go with either a pale green effect, or a bright white which just seeps through the case, like there's something unknown inside that ammo case.

In the end, it's up to you. Good luck man!

Let me start by saying this is part two of dead metel.

So the ammo case is the new plan, Copying from ZAPWIZARDS lan computer (sorry).
I got the case off of ebay. Lucky for me thay were shipping in the same state :D .

-----------------------------------------------------

This is just a little idea i'm working on don't know if i'm going to do it or not.
http://img137.exs.cx/img137/8592/co228mx.jpg

http://img162.exs.cx/img162/403/co21inplace8xf.jpg

And heres a fuse theres going to be one on each side. But i'm going to heat some plexi oround the side of the can. So the fuse is under the plexi cool well i think it is.

That means alot coming from a pro  .

Yes i well post pics of the parts first thing today.

Ps,
Do you want the sizes to?

EDIT,
The c02 tank is for the diode bus so i know what the fans are running at.

EDIT2,

Heres the parts the HDD is just a seagate so i didn't take a pic of it.
The dvd has odd mounting holes just for the xbox. But nothing a little dremeling can't take care of. And the power supply is really small but it gets the job done.
http://img179.exs.cx/img179/460/dvdpsu5rx.png

The mobo is a little bigger then a mini itx. Not a hole lot more to say.
http://img43.exs.cx/img43/9381/mobo7co.png

And i got the mouse. It didn't work to good on my halo2 book but none the less a sweet mouse. Now i have to paint it.

What version motherboard is your xbox's? I have a 1.6 (The newest because I just got mine like a month ago) and it doesent have a fan on the heatsink.

altec

Yes my motherboard is a 1.0. But the 1.6 has the same mobo mounts and all that. But you can't install a mod chip like the older boards. you have to get a LPC Rebuild Board but most chips come with them. If you don't want to use one you can solder each wire one at a time.

Happy day i have a update.

I got the mod chip "Xecuter3 CE".
http://img76.echo.cx/img76/7563/modchip2xc.jpg

Installed i didn't solder coz my hands would not stop Fing moving. So my master of every thing wiring Dad did that and i just showed him the solder points and looked it all over.
http://img76.echo.cx/img76/4954/chiponmobo7zx.jpg

As you can see the tape under that blue tape theres double sided tape the keeps the wires from moving.
http://img76.echo.cx/img76/9561/backmobo6jy.jpg

Got the X3 bios and look at the size of "F:\" damn i have 13 games on F right now and its down to 106Gb. And the HDD is a 160Gb WD 7200rpm.

Got the mobo tray and PSU tray cut up.

As you can see i cut the mobo tray so i can still have the DVD right on it then the HDD well be glued yes glued to the DVD.
http://img174.echo.cx/img174/6634/mobotray4wl.jpg

Inside pic.
http://img174.echo.cx/img174/5082/mobotrayinside0gu.jpg

I still have a little more cutting for the PSU tray. And as you can see i'm just using the other half of the xbox bottom i cut off for that.
http://img158.echo.cx/img158/2514/psutray2cf.jpg

Now the next thing to do is get the leds and WIRE it up.

Interesting to say the least. I'm planning to get another XBox and modding my current one. My current one has a thompson drive and it sucks.....

I would have recommended changing the TIM to something like AS5 before installing it. This should help solve some of the problems.

I've had a Thompson drive for about 3 years, never had any trouble.

Nice mod btw.
