Changed the looks of a mouse

It is a rather simply modification because it is my first mouse-mod,
gotta start easy, right?
What did I do:
cut a "window" in the mouse
and
put from an old speaker the grill in the "window"
and because it's an optical Logitec-mouse, the LED was allready there.
The grill is iron, so the molding into shape wasn't that easy, but all in all, it only took me a couple of hours to complete the whole job.
Maybe I can spray-paint the whole thing black
or should I leave it this way?
I kinda like the black and white

I like the window and the use of mesh, looks really nice! But the rest of the mouse seems... unfinished.

What you could do is paint the entire mouse white, then tape off a pattern of some sort onto the mouse and paint it all black. Then peel the tape off and you would have a black mouse with some kind of white pattern. Simple and easy.

But I would definitely do something to the rest of the mouse. Even if it was just painting the entire mouse black, that would look good because it would match the mesh grill.

I agree with Snowfire, it's a great start and your window came out quite well (looks very symmetric=nice!). What would look even better is an all out paintjob now, look at commando's mice for inspiration.

What about painting the mouse in black, maybe give it a pattern and painting the mesh white. Never tried to paint a mesh so i don't know if it is possible but i think it would look great.

Can't wait to see what you come up with! I think you will be very happy once you give the rest of the mouse a nice coat of paint. It should really compliment your mesh'd window nicely. :)

its really orginal, ive never seen a window that big on a mouse

i think you should do more to it though, like paint the whole thing black
