Machine Mod

Im planning this to build the legs out of wood and metal (tubes and pipes and such) and the base of the head out of wood with the curve top out of wire and thick paper mache. Is paper mache the best way to go? i would think its pretty flemsy but i guess i could really layer it up

I don't see any picture :( I don't see any reason why paper mache wouldn't work, as long as your trying to support any weight with it

im a regular at 4chan (image board) and i got like 400 pics somewhat like this. From what i know its concept art based off warhammer 40k (i used to play warhammer fantasy) and what im thinking of doing is getting a little bridge off the side in the back, a little platform thing and putting a few warhammer men up there, which fit the time period perfectly. Im debating to make that the whole thing or to make the ground look like its been in a battle with men and maybe a bunker or something. Ideas?

Oh ya, which is a better idea, (im goign to try for a glossy look) paper mache or fiberglass(never used) or some other idea?

I think fiberglass would be better than paper mache because you can sand it and paint it for a real smoot glassy finish. I do think paper mache is fairly strong, I sell pinatas at my job, they seem fairly strong although i am not 100% sure if they are traditional paper mache.

Nice idea for a mod. Check out forgeworld, they have models and pics of all the peices to give you an idea of all the diffrent parts of the titans

i guess i have to put a micro atx board in here, but ive never used one/will get one, so ill jsut make it accesable to one. But i dont know how to make standoff screw holes or placemtnt on them. anyone have a diagram on distances between the micro ones or hsould i just leave a blank piece of wood there to 'symbolize motherboard'
