i'm happy with the end result and case overall. i haven't really found any problems but then again i don't have the guts of the computer to install. my next purchase will either be the asus striker, or a couple of dvd burners.

Not a bad case there and the lock looks cool.

Just don't lose the key!

I'd have to agree with Bucko, but if you do by chance lose the key...keep your dremel handy at all times!

+rep for this nice little addition.

Thats pretty cool. Have you thought about putting the side panel on hinges? Then you could unlock the door and swing it open.

+rep on the addition.

if you look in that picture you can see there is a round peice of sheet metal that it hinges on.

i'm not sure if this is the best spot to ask but i will post here first and see.

i'm thinking about painting the inside of the case and want to know a few things.
how many cans of spray paint do you think it would take for 2 coats of colour paint and maybe a primer.
i would drill out the rivits then replace them once its painted but will it be as sturdy when i re rivet them??? i would think so but i just want to make sure.
