custom res

i want to build a custom resovoir, actually two. They will be 6 inch long tubes with about 2 inch diameters (could change) and im going to put squar plexi on the ends. If i glue them, what other method should i do to make it waterproof? btw its on the outside, so hopefully it will be asthetically pleasing or non noticable

Weld-On (I think that's the stuff) will make a strong and invisible bond that should be watertight but you will be to verify it before use. You should wait until Tybrenis chimes in here. He is our resident plexi Dali Lama.

i also heard (i'm not sure but this is what i remember) you can smash up some plexi glass then put in into jar with some acetate then it will melt the plexi into a glue. i think it was somewhere on this site but i don't know for sure.

It was said somewhere on this site. It was also said it was a good way do decrease your lifespan.

haha, weld-on will do the same thing. if i found it in my local hardware store and it was priced less that 10 i would definitely get it but otherwise i would just make my own.
