Haha. . Thats a good one. :D

To tell you the honest truth there shouldn't be another release of Windows for atleast 10 years. Long enough for them to fix all the crap thats wrong with all the other versions.

Windows ME is the one that never gave me any problems.

Vista. . is a computer repair mans Nightmare!

People install the wrong drivers and there computer won't boot or it shuts itself off.
Word of the wise if you have Vista DO NOT install any driver unless it specifically says VISTA!

Also DO NOT install any registry editing programs on Vista like CCleaner, or your PC won't Boot.

Oh ****! I installed that on my dad's Vista laptop; I hope he doesn't use the registry cleaner part!

Yes, It says its compatible with Vista..
I ran the reg cleaner and the computer rebooted itself and Windows wouldn't load.

All brand new parts, and that is the only thing I installed!

I had to repair the installation. All Fine and Good Now.

ME is and was the worst OS ever consived, it was a poor attempt at windows 2000, they pushed it out tooo soon, it wasn't ready, i don't know why they offered it when there was 2000 pro available.

Like above, i refused to work on a pc that had ME, i would always ask to upgrade to 98SE or 2k/XP

Because no home user could even need the reliability and features of 2000 Pro. My aunt's ME machine would lose the ability to play sound every time I ever touched it.

Yeah windows bites, I remember using WinRG before. Reminds me of when I made a program that looked like Windows XP in my Visual Basic class, I think I still have the files for that somewhere, didn't do much, I didn't have to enough time to make it seem useful.

WinME was definitely the worst one.. I actually threw away 10 unopened Me boxes the other day.. found them in storage here. The last IT guys plan was to replace Win98 on all the desktops... but he was so slow in getting around to it, that win2000 came out, so he put that on 2, and had loads of troubles with it so win98 just stayed on the rest. (I love commas.. can you tell?)

By the time I started, they had already begun replacing desktops and they came preloaded with XP. So, we had a bunch of win98, 3 winMe's, 2 Win2000s, and the rest XP.

Now we have 1 server2000, 1 server2003, 1 vista (me), and the rest are all XP Pro. So much nicer. :D
