i am looking for some CCFL for my case dual 12" kits and i found this on ebay

12" ultra bright blue (http://cgi.ebay.ca/DUAL-12-ULTRA-BRIGHT-BLUE-COLD-CATHODE-LIGHT-CCFL-KIT_W0QQitemZ180120522238QQihZ008QQcategoryZ51064Q QrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

i can get 1 12" CCFL green from a local store for 7.19 but i want blue. i can get a set of dual blue from ncix but with shipping it will end up being 20-25. link to ncix (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=17288&vpn=CLK12UV2&manufacture=Logisys%20Computer)

the cost of the ebay ones is only 16-17 CDN. i just want to know if there are cheap knock of ccfl's that will melt, blow up(not the tubes, the inverter) or generally cause headaches. the package he/she shows looks like the same from ncix. second question is what brand is good for ccfl's?

EDIT: well it turned out to be logisys, the same as ncix had, so i bought a set.

also can you reccomend some computer sites that sell lighting, cooling, mods etc. that ship to canada. places like frozen cpu.

.Maleficus.

All CCFL sets have a chance to melt/blow up/cause general headaches. I bought some from Xoxide and one of the tubes almost burnt out. It just happens.

Just make sure you glue the end caps on. I had a set of them short a computer out. I plugged them in started to position them and "bhhhh" computer shut off.

The Velcro pulled one of the end caps off. It may have been due to rough handling by the shipping company. I would suggest you try them out on a test PSU First.

Cheaper from the same person (http://cgi.ebay.com/12-DUAL-BLUE-COLD-CCFL-CATHODE-LIGHT-MOD-KIT-PC-BRIGHT_W0QQitemZ180120771803QQihZ008QQcategoryZ510 64QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
