Hey guys. I have a case setup I want to do. Basically, it's gonna be a PC2000V with some art on the panel side, and a intercooler mounted up top. I'd like to have a similar setup to the "Exos" units, but I don't want to spend a fortune for the radiator setup. What I want, is a casing to hold the radiator and fans. Basically, like a bread pan turned upside down with the bottom cut out. Say I were to cut out a large section of the top of the case... the housing would go over this section, hold the radiator, and fans, and would keep things looking tidy and professional.
Control panels and such will be elsewhere, the goal right now is to mount the radiator up top, externally, but make it appear to be a part of the case. Anyone know where I can get something based on the description?

i saw just do what you suggested a find a bread/baking pan and cut the bottem off. and/or have it so the rad can fit in the bottom of the pan (without a modding it) then you can just just the part you need and bolt the rad right to the pan.

the black is the bread pan and the blue is where you would cut and underneath is the rad. and my crappy fan grills on top. i would do a setchup but i suck ass at it.

I want a bit more professionalism than that. I'd be willing to pay the price of the Koolance part, I would just rather use another brand for the radiator. Not really sure on how well Koolance performs compared to like, DD and Swiftech or whatever they're called.

You could try Ebay, maybe you can find that model on the cheap and then just use what you want from it.
You could also just buy the one your looking at. If it doesn't perform as well as you want, then just use it till you can replace the radiator inside. ...if you even can. I'm not sure. I guess another option would be, just get that one and if you need more, then get a 120mm or something.
Then of course, you have the option that most of us would choose. Get whatever radiator you want and then build your own shroud type deal around it.
I suppose, you could also email Koolance to see if they can help you out at all. Maybe they have some extra parts laying around somewhere or something. Probably not, but you could at least try.
