You see that little hole, on the right of the engine, thats the pull start, the dam thing snapped. I tried to replace it, but i dont have right alon keys.

I PWN my 2 Cousins with this thing
And i found a few friends have a car but didn't get to race them yet because the dam pull start.

DudddeEE!!!!

I freaking love R/C stuff!

I have been out of the r/c loop for long, ... but, please share more!

What engine does it have?
How does it run?
What fuel?
Have you ran over any toads?
:D

Engine: I think its 2.5hp
This thing runs sweet. I ride it mostly on grass, but its probably even better on dirt tracks.
Fuel: Blue Thunder (20% Formula), $30 for a gallon:(
Didn't run over any toad i don't think:think:

You need 4 Double A for the Servos, it turns the car
I got my car converted to a rechargeable battery so i don't have to change the batteries.

This car been in 2 accidents.

One time, i lost control of the car(once you lose control you cant do crap, it hits full speed) the thing went full speed in a wood pile. My cuzins neigbor picked it up and faced it the other way then went full speed under my cuzins shed. The Car blew a tire, and the front was all bent. (My Cousin lives right behind me,he has a Traxxas Truck. My Uncle owns a acre of land, but he died alittle before Christmas so now its my Aunts.) My CUzins Neighbore didn't know i didnt have control of it:think:. He owned a T-Max until my Cuzin took it off his ramp(the thing split in half). He used his truck until he got his.

Then there was another accident when it was my first time racing with my other Cuzin, he has the Savage truck. Some thing happened with the frequency. My Cuzin was controlling mine for alittle until it went out of control again.. and i was controlling his and crashed in my fence(wasnt going fast so really no damage to his truck) My car was heading right to my aunts road, to my other aunts house, but i was lucky. My car hit a Cynadir block did a flip in the air and landed on my aunts driveway with no damage at all(it just stayed there idling , thanks gosh.)

After my 2nd accident i got a fail safe, so if it goes out of range it turns off.( u can see the fail safe on the second picture.)

Its not fun trying to chase your car before it hits something.
Me and my dad give up on chasing it because once it hits full speed(out of control) its doing about 85-95mph.

And yah this is my 2nd pair of tires since the 1st accident ruined one. 4 tires $100

My cuzins are in there late 20's.
Im the youngest cuzin with the R/C car and mine still the BEST

I just got this pick off Google with the cover.

I was thinking of buying spinner's for it, but i cant waste $100 atm, maybe after i build my computer.8)

Commando that cover can use a paint job

Dude, that is sweet... up to like 95mph, holy crap! If you lose control, you could prolly turn off the controller due to that other failsafe you have...

Turning of the Controller would do nothing. The switch would still be on in the car. The switch im talking about is that green switch on that black box(picture 2)

To turn this thing off you put your thumb on the exhaust pipe hole to turn it off.

The first accident it was in: we couldn't get to the muffler , so we had to pinch one of the gas tubes to shut it off. the front wheel that blew, looked like a saw turning full speed.

Blown Tire:

I meant the one where if it goes out of range... those work (I think) that it turns off or something when it loses signal...

No no no... the system you're thinking about is the one that, when out of range, the little car just goes full speed straight to the swimming pool... and makes a big, Hollywood-style splash right in the middle of a couple in the middle of a romantic get-away.

Not that I've ever had that happen to me or anything...

I was pretty much basing that off an assumption I've had for a while... or at least a theory... I know you can program/whatever it to do what you want if it loses signal, such as with some RC Helicopters, when out of range they slowly descend to the ground.

I want want one of those helicopters. but there +$1000, its either that or the computer, lol....

Im good with the car tho

Yes yes... and you're right.
I'm just... recounting what I saw a kid do once.
Never met him actually... but I saw the car make the splash.

But what you talk about, most definitely.
I would reckon that if signal is lost, you could program the receiver to brake, stop throttle, stop steering, full steer, etc...
I don't know. Haven't been "in" the hobby for a looong time.

Redundant

Well, you need a computer radio or a "failsafe box" onboard the vehicle.

When it comes to RC helis, unless you have it set to cut the throttle and you have an autorotation gear installed, expect it to be destroyed upon impact. (at least for gas helis, electrics often survive)

If you want a computer radio with fail safe built in and no signal conflicts ever, then I suggest getting a Spektrum Radio (http://www.horizonhobby.com/Stores/Products.aspx?StoreCatId=R&BrandId=SPM). They run on 2.4GHz unlike the regular 27 or 72 mhz of most radios. They are also full digital so response is much faster (be sure to use digital servos too). And no, it won't interfere with wireless routers or cell phones.

If you want an RC car, Team Losi makes the best ones.
If you want a (beginner) RC heli, the Blade CX2 (http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdId=EFLH1250) is great. But if you want a cheap one to just play around with, the BladeRunner (about $40) is good too.

I'd like to be in the RC heli scene now but it's too expensive for me currently... (I have a Blade CP (http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdId=EFLH1100) and it needs some parts to fly again)
