ATI OR Nvidia
now i have been doing alot of research and found that the ATI has beat Nvidia BUT what i found was only the 256mb x800 xl and up beat nvidia in every card up to 6800 ultra but then nvidia come back and beat them with there 6600 gt 128 and up cards actually beat the 256 x800 xl and up now price wise Nvidia wons this big time to get a ATI x800 xl it over 250$ and then u can get a nvidia sli 6600 gt which beat all of ati good expensive cards and u can get this card for like 190 or go up to the 6800 gt which is only like 230 thats still cheap and it one of the best cards now if u want to get technigal there are nvidia cards that are 6800 gt that are like 400 $but that nuthing campared to x850 xt which is around 500-700 $and thats only a 256 or u could get an x850 xt pe which is 720$ or you can get nvidia best graphic card and its sli ready for only 600$ the 7800 now this with 2 of them yes it 1200 $ bucks this card is soo good u only need 1 of them now the 6600 gt 128 mb and all the cards below still beat every ati card that under x700 pro 256mb now p-pipes ati has better x800 up 12-16 and nvidia 6600 gt and up only has 8-16 so ati beats them by 4 Ati also beats them in buswith 256 bit(again x800 and up) and nvidia has only 128-256 (6600 and up)http://graphics.tomshardware.com/graphic/20050524/vga_charts-02.html a quick chart pretty much rapes everything i said up except the prices
if i would choice i would get 6600 gt 128 mb sli if u have pci x16 slots if u dont go with with a 6800 gt 256 ok so thats ito wait 1 more thing if u rich go with ati and if ur not go with nvidia
Edited: Ati also wins in OpenGl 2.0 and nvidia only 1.5
Nvidia wins some catagoery and ATI wins some 2

Sure, Nvidia's got the new 7800GTX, but ATI has just started with Crossfire and their X900 series, which had better support that damned SM3.0! Oh,and for easier reading, clarification, and frustration evasion, please, learn to type neater!
