Here he is! My first born son.. Joshua Logan. He was born on Friday May 25th, at 1:28pm. 6lbs 15.5oz.. not bad for someone 3 weeks early!

We are now safely at home, mom is doing great, and dad is looking forward to getting *some* sleep tonight.. it's been a long couple days. :D

Thanks guys! It's been a great experience so far.. I'm actually looking forward to the next 18 years.. and maybe beyond that, but we'll start with 18. :D

Unusual story about the name.. I had a best friend in highschool named Joshua, and my closest cousin was named Josh also. While I was working in Russia in 2000, he was killed in a car accident.

We (mom and I) agreed on the name Joshua long ago, and when he came out as a boy, we agreed that the name fit. :D My family started calling around and my aunt was absolutely in tears when we told her that we named him Josh. She said, "Did you pick that name because of the date?" That's when I realized that May 25th was the day Josh was killed! Baby was 3 weeks premature, and ended up being born on the anniversary.

Like everyone says, "it was meant to be".

Sadly, I've decided to cancel my Shaw Xtreme internet.. good bye 10mbps. Hello 5mbps... oh well... $15 saved / month right there.

Goodbye energy drinks too... $3, 2/day, 5 days/week = $120/month.

The hardest cut by far though, will be my World of Warcraft account. I havent had time to play for the last 6 days, and I dont think that will change anytime soon. :( $15/month right there also..

Congratulations! Being a father of a 3yr old boy myself I can't even begin to tell you how exciting it is. NOBODY and I mean NOBODY should go thru life without experiencing having a baby. It is truely a miracle in your hands. By the way, tell your Wife/girlfriend they did an amazing job!!!
