and he doesn't like you messing with his sister.

So I applied my vinyl masking and sprayed the final color of black on the side panel and it has orange peel out of the area commonly called "the butt".

Once it's fully cured do you guys think it will be possible to wet sand it smooth or should I sand the orange peel off best as I can and then clear it and wet sand?

Also note the scratches in the stars. ><; Any tips on how to repair that would be greatly appreciatd as well. Right now my thought is to spray some primer on a little brush and brush the scratches. Followed by brushing on some of the color.

Welcome Andrew!

I don't know what to do about the scratches (I don't actually see any..) but for the orange peel, yes, curing and then wetsanding is fine.

Can't answer your question though I've got to say nice design on the side panel :)

Dude,

Maleficus (or however you spell your nick) I always think it's Morpheus when I just glance at it. Oh yeah, back to the subject.

Male Ficus is all over it. Don't sweat it. Just sand it down. Use 900 grit or above, if you can. As for fixing some small spots, go for it. I read somewhere from some total painting pro ninja that fixing mistakes is what makes pro painters really good. Believe it or not the pros goon up all the time and the trick is that that the clearcoat covers up really well. So don't sweat the small stuff, fix it and clear coat it.

I hope this helps.

Oh yeah, killer design man.
