I was playing cod2 single player today and I noticed that some of the sandbags, rocks, crates, and some buildings were weird colors...rainbow rocks??(maybe their gay? lol jp) Anyways what could be the problem? I'm using a Nvidia Geforce 7900GTX (512 mb). I've tried several different things. Reinstalled drivers twice, Turned AA and AF off and on both in the video card console and the game. I Did notice that when AA was off that it fixed some of the color issues, but not all. I've re installed the game also. Any suggestions?

Does your video card support 3D stuff? I had an onboard card and play BF:Vietnam and everything 3D was pink.

Check the temps of your video card and everything else, I had a tearing problem and it was heat, so it may be the same.

If that doesn't help, I'll be thinking of what else it could be, you're welcome.

Even if it is the temps. The color problem doesnt happen on Multiplayer...at least not that I have noticed. I just loaded up the game to double check and ran around the map and didn't see anything wrong.

In that case, maybe the maps or something are corrupted... try reinstalling it.

Try having everything on the lowest settings, and work your way up. If they started dissappearing when you turned off AA, maybe it will get better the lower you go.

Grab new drivers/turn off normal mapping/turn off reflections.
Sounds like your video card is having trouble rendering the spec/reflection maps.
Im not sure though - grab new drivers!
