Could anyone pont me in the direction of a really good value AGP card. I'm on a fairly extreme bubget but im only wanting to play games that would be to the standard of HL2.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's an x1650 for $144.95 Canadian (http://www.memoryexpress.com/index.php?PageTag=&page=file&memx_menu=EmbedProductDetail.php&DisplayProductID=9072&SID=)

Here's an x1050 for $109.95 Canadian (http://www.memoryexpress.com/index.php?PageTag=&page=file&memx_menu=EmbedProductDetail.php&DisplayProductID=9769&SID=)

Or, here's a GeForce 6200 for $64.95 Canadian (http://www.memoryexpress.com/index.php?PageTag=&page=file&memx_menu=EmbedProductDetail.php&DisplayProductID=9376&SID=)

Depending on the in game settings, a 6200 should provide a good experience in HL2 for very little cash.

Hmmm... You're in Ireland... The best I can do then is recommend good cards, but disregard the prices.

256Mb 6800XT (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814136008)
128Mb FX5500 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814143097)

Those are actually nice prices for USD... I don't know how that transfers to Irish money, but if you could find something like that you're in luck.

My card, a 6800XT (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814141026) with 512mb RAM

It's pretty good, I like it. Works well, just get a new heatsink, the stock one blows... well, not really... it doesn't do much of anything.
