Heart attack

My mom had a heart attack last night. She is in stable condition and we're waiting for blood tests to determine what is going to happen. She might have to have a bypass or a stint put in.

I won't be on for a while. I will check in as I can.

Dude, sorry to here that... especially with what else is going on too (don't worry about it guys, it's kinda touchy...). I've had my share of scares lately... like the past few years. My grandpa had a heart attack and then a triple bypass a couple years ago, my mom had a lump in her chest and thankfully it wasn't cancer again, etc.

If her room has an O2 connector on the wall (that isn't being used, of course), you might be able to inflate balloons with it. Just a thought. lol

Ok, they put 2 stints in and did an angioplasty. She's fine, although her meds are causing her some difficulty in clotting properly from where they went in.

Other than that, everything seems to be good.

She's good. As long as her O2 levels stay up and her meds work, she will be back home tomorrow.

FYI: Driving for 6 hours without a shirt on a sunny day = sunburn. Ow.

I bet they were thrilled to see that your online buds are pretty caring, for the most part. Kind words do wonders when you're down, not as much in my case, but I've seen people feel a lot better if you just reassure them or say something nice...
