I know lots of you have been wondering where our friendly TBCS mod has been for the last couple of weeks, and I'm here to let you in on the scoop so you can lend your support to another of our cherrished members!

Bucko has been in hospital getting his bearings and treatment for a recent diagnosis of Type-1 diabetes. He messaged me earlier to tell me he will be home in several days.

Join me in projecting your positive energy his way, as I believe it is a substantial part of recovery for any illness.

Let's keep both Bucko and Dave in our thoughts, so we can get them back here in our circle ASAP. I'll be mailing each and every one of you REALLY long sticks so we can poke them once in a while.

Wow
Thanks for the update Paul.

I'm not a religious-fruit-cake or something, but I definitely agree with you with the fact that we can 'project positive energy' towards our Dave and Bucko.

:)

BTW: I'm moddin' my stick... gonna hook-up a mini PokesPerMinute readout...

Make mine a little shorter since it will have to fit in my luggage. I hope to be close to back slap distance of Dave within a month and will push some positive energy his way.

I also will keep the good thoughts flowing. Nothing like the power of positive energy!

*makes squinted face*

project positive energy, project positive energy, project positive energy

/chant

Pokes per minute? Thats all? I'm attaching a taser on the end of my stick! ;)

Jokes aside, I hope Dave and Bucko get back soon! I'm sure they'll be good and healthy when they get back too, I also believe in prayer having mysterious healing powers, religious or not. With all of us projecting positive energy their way, they'll probably come back as moderating demigods! ...that kind of scares me actually. I remember something about Dave having a lil too much fun playing Age of Empires (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showpost.php?p=51192&postcount=27)...

I still have that 6 feet of acrylic tube that I could do some poking with.

Best wishes to both of them. I'm hypoglycemic so I know some of how diabetes can be. I actually could develop it sometime within my lifetime and I'm trying to prevent that. What's with Dave though?

What's with Dave though?

Don't ask people to volunteer details about their medical issues, they will fill you in on what they wish to.

Get well soon Mr. Bucko and Mr. Dave

I also believe in prayer having mysterious healing powers, religious or not.
That's because we all have wireless-X pre-installed in our brains. 1000 Gbps! Then the brain power combines and we help their brains defragment. lol j/k

Thanks for the well wishes guys.
I just got out of Hospital after going in last Tuesday. I'm feeling a lot better, but still a little down in the dumps about it all.

It's been a ****ty week full of stress. While in Hospital, we had a small cyclone go through the area. It washed a massive coal ship up on the main beach 10 minutes from my place, lots of houses were flooded and general destruction in the region.
I was stuck inside not knowing if my house was going to be flood damaged and not able to go and check. My friend lost his car from floods, so he couldn't look either.
Luckily it is all ok.

So this week I went to Hospital, had a cyclone, watched a guy die on the bed beside me, saw a truck roll on it's side outside the Hospital this morning, and I'm very happy to be home.

The forum is crap to try and browse from my mobile phone too, but it did allow me to PM Crimson though and let him know what was going on.

I think I'll go and hit the hay. After a week in a ****ty Hospital bed, I want my big, comfy king size bed back.

I'll catch up with the rest of the posts on the forum tomorrow.

I'm glad to be back!
