Apparently they take hours to cool down even a can of drink.

from what i remember it keeps cold drinks cold not cools them off. i have a cooler that works the same way but much bigger and better. koolatron i think.

I haven't read in-depth, but from what I take-in from the pictures...
They're using Peltiers [sp?] for cooling, and a small fluid circuit for heat flow?

If you buy that, keep in mind it won't work with soda cans: the bottoms of those are raised.

It's probably just a fan & heatsink on the hot side.
