This really sucks having to bug everyone for opinions but hopefully you all understand that I'm lacking the first hand experience with all the different brands out there and other types of live and learn knowledge.

I'm trying to find good quality gaming RAM. Here's some choices I've picked out. Feel free to recommend some. please keep in mind I dont want crap ram that is insanely fast then dies in a month.

I'm going with THIS (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16813188013) motherboard and the e6600.

for the price versus quality, I'll go with the mushkins. then the OCZ. BTW' I'm a fan of Corsair and I try to stay away from Kingston (some could have better result then I, but I hate Kingston)

I've never heard of "Super Talent" though they have the best timings for a reasonable price. But because I don't like spending money on "new" companies, I'd suggest the Mushkin because it has the next lowest timings, it's cheapest, and Mushkin is a high quality brand.

Good choice on the mobo.

Super Talent; We use these sticks in several systems with good results. Mainly servers but a few workstations too. From what I can tell they put out a decent product, but yeah I would be wary since they are so new.

Kingston; Use them also. We do not specifically spec them because we have had issues in the past with the PC memory. Never had an issue with their sun or sgi memory.

I have that motherboard(different version) and the 1066Mhz version of those Mushkin and love them. 2x1GB 5-5-4-12 timings. My memory wasn't on EVGA's site, but I bought them anyways. I'm glad I did. I never overclocked them though. The heatsink is a little cheap, it's not glued or thermalpasted on to the chip. Just a non sticky heat pad. It can move around but with a little force. I would also suggest the Muskin.

Here (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146677) is the memory I am using. I paid $360 for them though back in Feb. WTF!! They are worth it. I don't know that you would see any difference over the 800 though.

**NOTE** If you go with the Mushkin, you may have to up the voltage a bit to get the memory to run at specs. With mine, they recommend 2.2v-2.35 to run at 1066Mhz with 5-5-4-12 timings, my board defaulted them to 1.8v at 800Mhz. It runs stable at 2.2 at 1066Mhz with the 5-5-4-12 timings.

Good Luck!

My board defaulted mine to 1.8v at 5-5-5-18 timings, so I bumped it to 2.0v to get 4-4-4-12. I'm thinking about OC'ing mine again.

And I have the lower-end version of that board.

The board I got in Feb. isn't even on NewEgg anymore. It's the 680i though from EVGA. And I did forget to mention it raised the timings which I also had to set to spec. Easy fix though.
