Well, I've got a fun project for my watercooling system for my main rig! Look what I found in the trash pile at work:

It's a support bracket for car body work. (I work at a car dealership...)

I plan to use it as a reservoir for my watercooling, but I don't know how to cap the top and bottom. I thought I'd use acrylic, but how would I mount it to the aluminum?

That looks thick enough to drill, tap, and use screws to mount plates.

EDIT: Maybe not, it would have to be small screws...

Looks interesting... you could use some aluminum for one end and weld it, and then some plexi with marine caulk or something for the other... or both alumium and put valves for the hoses in one end and a lid on the other for filling it.

Aluminum plates would be cool, but if you don't have access to a TIG welder it's going to be tough
