I hate to say this, but I think we need more commericials like that over here. Maybe that would get through to some people.

They are effective ads.

As someone who has been hit by a car at an intersection while riding my bike, ones like this should be shown as well.

Yeah, I have a mate who used to speed a lot, then I was in the car with him and he was speeding a good 10mph over the speed limit. He turned the corner into my street and had to slam on his breaks, JUST in time - they had started doing roadworks and part of the road was only big enough for one car- my girlfriend was driving through it the opposite direction and we almost hit her head on. He doesn't speed now.
