Just wondering if ya'll have seen these or used them. I got a Kingwin Thunder liquid cold cathode.
I had no idea it did anything but light up or lite with music. When you lite it up it has dancing lightning inside, Really Cool.

Wow that is cool it must have like to contacts at each en and when a sound sensor thing that causes a high voltage discharge across the tube maybe. Or some weird effect they can do inside the cathode.

Interesting it says they are liquid so it must be some of electroluminescent property of the liquid that is been activated.

That's really cool. Maybe it's like a CCFL and a plasma globe combined.

I had one of those ad it was basiclly the same as a plasma ball with the fluresant light inside as well! They are really cool but don't have a very long life.

Yea, I still haven't figured out what to do with it.
Just some of the free goodies my sponsor sent.

Maybe in the base of a LCD Monitor. . Like the stand or something?
That would be preddy easy to do. I'll just make sure I can remove the LCCFL if it decides to go out on me.
