Like these? (http://i2.neoseeker.com/neo_image/140337/article/ballistixpc4000/leds2_thumb.jpg)

Crucial Ballistix (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148047)

I'm positive there are plenty of other ones, this was the first one I found. I am currently at work. :)

That link is for DDR2 Memory. Are you just saying you didn't want that because the lights were only in the middle?

Like this? DDR2 800 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145589) Little cheaper too. Link for other picture below.

Not the best picture, but you can see the leds go across the full length (http://reviews.pimprig.com/memory/images/cor-ddr2-label-thumb.jpg)

Holy crap man, quad post!? Within 15 minutes of each other? That's what the "Edit" button is for ;).

Anyways, why do you want a server motherboard? And also, if you're looking for good deals, check out the one Indy posted in the Hot Hardware Deals section with the Q6600 and XFX 680i SLI mobo for $500.

Radar:

Have you thought about a P35 chipset? Would make the system a little more future proof as it supports the future Penryn CPU's. I think one of the Gigabyte motherboards has the option of using both DDR2 and DDR3 as well for when the DDR3 ram prices come down. Only thing is they aren't SLi compatible if you wanted to go down that route at some point. They also seem to be over clocking well.

If it is going to take you a little while to save up the X38 chipsets should be out by then. It will have more x16 PCI-E lanes and I believe one of the Foxconn's will support SLi and Crossfire.

On a side note... At the end of July Intel will be dropping the CPU prices, so could be worth hanging on till then.

ya ill have to look into that because im only making about 150 a week because i just started so. and i figured out that it would take me about 10 week to earn 1500 i think so. its a possibility about what you were talking about. this is only my second pc that i'm going to build. my first one wasn't that great because i only spent around 700 on it so. if anyone else has any suggestions about making it better or something just say it.
