laptop idea

i know its not in the right place but know ones answering ijn the idea forum so here it is. i have a inspiron 1100 and i was wondering if it was possible to put the screen into the side of a computer case and use it as a screen. if anyone has any answers,suggestions, or anything reply. thanks.
