Maya PLE (Personal Learning Edition) - http://www.autodesk.com

DAZ is good and all, but I've never gotten into it. Sketchup is good too, but very basic. Blender is powerful, but confusing. Maya is considered one of the best 3D programs available, and PLE is just a semi stripped down version.
