So I have been lurking here for a while. But after viewing Crimson Sky's Doom3 machine I realized that I had to be a member. I couldn't just figure out how to do such quality work without advice. But for today I'm starting off easy. I dont have many resources to work with right now, but I'm getting to that.

My question today is on airbrushes. I was looking at the Iwata Revolution HP-CR. I remember reading that most liked the all metal handle. But I dont really remember reading if gravity feed airbrushes were better or more comfortable to use or if its more of a gimmick feature. Some help would be awesome. Thanks.

Gravity feed isn't a gimmick, it is better than siphon feed. If you have the money for it, then buy it, but if it's a first airbrush and you might not use it too much, then you'll be safe with a siphon feed too.

yes a double action gravity fed airbrush is the best way to go. i've been looking at them for a while but don't paint near enough to justify buying one.

this link (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showpost.php?p=91982&postcount=2) might help

Thanks for the help. I think I'll just continue on with my course then.

I'd also check out Commando's posts in the tutorials section and maybe go to his website, he's a great guy, and he helped me ALOT with buying an airbrush setup.
