What all did u guys do for 4th of july?

My day started out as I was escorted by the police to a warehouse place surrounded by the Swat Team and police. I was in Brooklyn watching over the way to Manhattan where the fireworks were shot off. It was just about the best show I had ever seen. When the show was all over the boats were honking their horns and it ended after about an hour. All in all I had great fun.

Ill upload my photos when I get them on the computer, they weren't all that great since the camera wasn't.

I went to a local park to hang out with my friends. Mini fair/carnival, and at the end a firework show. Turned out pretty nice, but it seems like each year the fireworks get a little worse :(.

Just got back from a friends party. They had close to $3000 in fireworks. Man it was a really awesome show! The best part about it is, I didn't have to spend a dime to watch other peoples money go up in smoke. :)

well im not an american... but that doesnt stop me from having a good time and blaming it on a holiday or whatnot.

im meeting up with some friends at midnight to hang out in a local park... who knows for how long. actually its been one big party for me since saturday night because my birthday was on sunday, along with canada day. i dont think ive had more than 6 hours of sleep since friday night. at this point i guess im just shooting for a personal record of sleep deprivation... too bad i have to work or else i could really go hardcore.

anyways... have fun everyone, thats an order. or if your celebrations have ended already... HAVE MORE FUN!!!

Went out on the lake along with a couple hundred others and sat smack right underneath a world class firework show at the Coeur d'Alene resort in beautiful Northern Idaho.

Then we launched off a bunch of mortars off my dock. 243 explosions, OH YEA!

Been home for about an hour and there are boats still coming in from the show.

Now I'm going to clean up a bit for my cousin and her husband who were married on our beach last week, they're staying here for their honeymoon while we all go camping for about a week.

See you guys in about a week! :D

Drove home.

Talked to people.
Slept.

Good day off work.

I went to see Evan Almighty (which was quite hilarious) and then came back to hang out at my grandparents' house. I didn't set off any fireworks, I have no cash that I can freely spend, damn college, lol. In NC they had a clip on the news about how the stands were selling fireworks that were legal to sell but illegal to let off, how dumb. Some dumbass little kid with idiot parents goes temporarily deaf due to a fire cracker and they ban them. Bah, I'll quit while I'm ahead, I could rant for hours.

But yeah, I had a good day, it was fun.

We had the best 4th of July in years! I got home from work about 8am.. slept until 11 (although interrupted a few times by the kids). Family came over about 4 and we started our cookout. Lots of food.. had some burgers and steaks on the grill. When it started getting dark, we had a small fire in the back yard. Got rained on a little, but it was so hot yesterday I didn't care. City fireworks were set off at 10.

Ohio law says that you can purchase fireworks, but not set them off in the state. In accordance with said law, nobody in my neighborhood (including myself) had any type of personal fireworks display. </sarcasm>

Interestingly enough I entertained a bunch of Brit's. Seems like every year the same Blokes come by for some ribbing (both on and off the grill) and since they always bring beer we feel obliged drink it. ;)

No fireworks this year since the forest where we live is extremely dry. We would not even let people smoke outside...
